Hop Along Kids Occupational Therapy is an established and well respected paediatric service, providing the highest quality support and intervention to our clients, their families and to our local schools and early childhood centres.Hop Along Kids Occupational Therapy provides family-centred services to children in the Maitland and the Lower Hunter Valley areas. Our staff use an evidence-based approach that embraces neurodiversity, values the uniqueness of each child and fosters an inclusive environment for all children.
How do I know if my child needs OT?
Occupational Therapy offers valuable support to children across all aspects of their daily life including managing toileting; dressing; tolerating different foods; forming friendships; coping with change; using “tools” such as pencils, scissors and cutlery, engaging in movement and sports.

Services We Provide
Occupational Therapy sessions are conducted within your child’s natural environment, where they spend their day playing,learning and interacting. This may include home, daycare, preschool or school environments, depending on the needs of your child.
